NONSTEADY BEHAVIOR OF A VAPOR BUBBLE IN AN ULTRASONIC FIELD.

摘要
The behavior of a vapor bubble in a boiling liquid under the influence of ultrasound is investigated. Expressions are obtained in the square-law field approximation for the rates of growth of the average bubble size and mass of the entrapped vapor for any thickness of the thermal layer. The mechanisms of bubble growth and collapse are analyzed in detail. The accuracy of the solution and its limits of applicability are discussed.
