摘要：
The terminology being used in distribution networks, its structures and its operation has never been very uniform. For this reason definitions and descriptions of different network parts and substations are given. The most common network structures and operation methods are summarized in this paper to give an overall picture of the present electricity supply system in the Netherlands, with emphasis on distribution networks.
