摘要
An outline is given of the current trends of development in digital systems and their advantages over analog devices. The INOS system is cited as an example to show how furnace control operations can be accomplished cost-effectively by highly specialized microminiaturized systems. Such miniature systems can be installed locally and can also be built up of several subsystems with central monitoring and control.
