PROBLEMS OF TELETRAFFIC THEORY.

Discussion of the fundamental terms and the methodology of the teletraffic theory. It is shown how to describe the special stochastic character of teletraffic mathematically. The different types and functions of network configurations and connecting arrays are outlined. A survey is given of the principal calculation methods for state probabilities and the characteristic quality values. Finally, an example is presented of the calculation of optimum electronic switching networks.
