摘要
A model based on the assumption that the main elements of cell walls are dipole dislocation configurations is suggested as a description of cell structures. They form as a result of elastic interaction of sliding dislocations. The model of dipole dislocation structures allows the static properties of the cell structures to be calculated and the kinetics of their formation to be described. In the scope of the static approach, planar walls built of dislocation quadrupoles (aggregations of dislocations of orthogonal sliding systems) are considered. The kinetics of formation of the dipole structure is described by a set of equations for balance between densities of mobile dislocations and immobile dipole configurations formed by them. The results of these calculations are in good agreement with experiment.
