摘要
The characteristic software requirements of computer process control are surveyed and systematized by the author. The general characteristics of the software system of process control computers, the concept of the Real-Time Operation System, and its structural principle are discussed. The functioning of the main units of the Real-Time Monitor are discussed in detail, including the possible state of tasks in the real-time system, the principles of classifying computing time and store domains, the designing of the order of tasks to be carried out, and the software mechanism of handling I/O equipment.
