摘要
Evaluation of records from all types of full-scale wastewater treatment plants indicated that effluent total grease and oil concentrations seldom averaged more than 15 mg/1 and seldom exceeded 30 mg/1. Higher concentrations occasionally occurred randomly. Only 1 of 55 plants had consistently high effluent grease and oil concentrations, and no single causative factor was identified. Comparison of grease and oil removal with various plant loading and operating parameters showed strongest correlation to the effluent 5-day biochemical oxygen demand and suspended solids concentrations.
