By the acceptor method, a study has been made of the quenching of singlet molecular oxygen (**1O//2) by pyrrole in pyridine, acetone, and benzene. The rate constants of the quenching have been calculated. It has been demonstrated that the efficiency of **1O//2 quenching by pyrrole depends on the nature of the solvent.
