摘要
Activity coefficients are reported for 1-butanol, 2-methyl-1-propanol, 2-butanol, and 2-methyl-2-propanol in water, n-octane, and carbon tetrachloride, in the dilute solute region. Measurements were made at 20. 0 degree C by direct analysis of the vapor above the solutions. From these measurements at mole fractions of 0. 0005-0. 01, limiting activity coefficients, Henry's law constants, and standard Gibbs energies of transfer of solute from liquid to vapor were calculated.
