摘要
Good mechanical properties and welding property of plates could be achieved by control cooling after rolling. A kind of laminar cooling device with high density piping was installed on the plate mill at Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co. The device has strong uniform cooling capability, and the flatness of plate is not changed after cooling. Its advantages are simple structure and easy maintenance. The relation of fluid speed, water temperature and heat transfer coefficient with plate width was described.
