摘要
The NASA/AHS (American Helicopter Society) Program is a technology development program for helicopter noise reduction and prediction. The program is both a focused and an integrated effort. The focus is to develop the necessary technology to enable industry to design, build, and certify safe, quiet, efficient rotorcraft. Research accomplished under the program supports one or more of the four program thrusts that were identified at a March 1982 Rotorcraft Noise Conference at Langley Research Center. These four program thrusts or areas are: noise prediction, testing and data base, noise reduction, and criteria development.
