Power supplies for robotized complexes with optimized external characteristics and remote control are considered. It is shown that such power supplies widen the region of application of ac in welding with UONI-13/45 electrodes and wires with additions of rare earth elements in gaseous mixtures on reduced idling voltage. The trends of development of power supplies, e. g. with inductive power accumulators for the welding of alloys containing easily evaporizing components, as well as transistor and thyristor converters, are determined.
