摘要：
An experimental investigation was made to study the heat transfer characteristics of helical coils under constant wall temperature boundary condition with water and carboxyl methyl cellulose solution in water as working fluids flowing inside and steam condensing on the outside of the coils. The variables studied for each fluid were Reynolds number and the tube-to-coil diameter ratio; empirical equations correlating these variables have also been established.
