摘要
The ″Krivorozhstal'″ Integrated Iron and Steel Works is the largest steel producer in Ukraine. There are one open hearth furnace shop and two basic oxygen converters at the Works. Advanced technologies of smelting the steels including the structural, low-alloy and alloy steels of improved quality have been developed at the works. Open hearth furnace shop and obsolete basic oxygen converter shop No. 1 will be closed. New basic oxygen converters are installed at shop No. 2. Six new continuous casters will be installed. Technology of cast iron desulfurization has been developed. Three ladle-furnace plants will be installed.
