Effect of structure on inner damping and elasticity modulus changes in VT3-1 and VT9 titanium alloys

摘要
The material structure in titanium alloys has an effect on inner damping size as well as on the initial microplastic deformation. This is reflected in the fact that the deformation amplitude value is dependent on the structure. After exceeding the definite deformation limit value the inner damping increases. Simultaneously the structure influence may be seen on the outset of microplastic deformation that changes with structure alteration. This fact may serve in the heat treatment regime for the loading method (particularly in fatigue load).
