摘要
An investigation of the phenomenon of hysteresis in the solution-gel phase transition in the agarose-water system by PMR and by recording the turbidity spectrum has shown that both methods give identical gelling and melting points. The turbidity-spectrum method determines the temperature for the beginning of the destruction of the supramolecular order, and PMR determines the softening point of the gel.
