Charge-transfer devices, so called bucket-brigade delay lines and charge-coupled devices, are currently developed in many places. These relative new devices which are fabricated as monolithically integrated circuits offer interesting possibilities for various applications. This paper presents a method to realize certain filters with the aid of charge transfer devices. The principle is particularly suited for realization of narrow-band bandpass and bandstop filters whose center frequencies may be easily controlled electronically. Comb filter behavior over a limited frequency range is an additional feature. Since inductors are not needed, these filters are suited for implementation as integrated circuits.
