摘要
Possible applications of the indirect extrusion process in producing copper sections and tubing are discussed. The characteristics of the process are described, and a comparison is made with the direct extrusion process. The advantages of indirect extrusion are enumerated. A brief illustrated description is given of an indirect extrusion press.
