Involving 130 partners in 11 European countries with six core competencies, the Micro Electronics Development for European Applications' (MEDEA) Phase 2 focus is on 45 research and development projects. With 80,000 direct employees in the semiconductor sector, the industry supports over 4.3 m jobs across the region.
