One of the basic tasks in the metrological evaluation of design documentation is to establish that the accuracy parameters of the measurement meet the specifications for monitoring reliability. The latter is characterized by the conditional probability of obtaining the result 'not suitable' in monitoring a parameter whose value corresponds to the requirements in the technical documentation as well as by the conditional probability of obtaining the result 'suitable' in monitoring a parameter whose value does not correspond to the requirement. An appropriate analysis is presented. Use is made of terms and symbols in accordance with a given Russian standard, i. e. All-Union State Standard 19919-74.
