An investigation was carried out at the Baltic central station specifically aimed at sampling the shale from the high capacity fuel handling plant and testing it. Three experiments were carried out. As a result of each experiment, outputs of fractions and weighted averages of quantitative characteristics of the main and control samples were computed. The test data show that the fractional compositions of the main and control samples are identical, and this confirms the absence of selectivity with automatic sampling.
