摘要：
A relatively new technology, fluidized bed combustion (FBC) provides a means of producing industrial steam from local, inexpensive, and readily-available run-of-mine coal. The compact dual-bed system described can achieve desulfurization efficiencies of 95 to 97 percent without pollution control equipment, drastically reducing energy bills.
