摘要：
The increase in induction melting has brought about a rise in the use of dry vibrated linings. Reviewed are factors to consider when using these linings and advantages that will be realized. It is concluded that dry materials will eventually be the sole type of linings used in inductively powered and most containment areas of induction furnaces. The increased size and power of new furnaces will almost mandate this changeover.
