摘要：

The technical trends of Hitachi for the recent fossil fuel power generation are introduced. They are: (1) diversification of fuel such as the coal utilization technology while taking care for the best environmental protection and the highly efficient liquefied natural gas (LNG) utilization technology, and (2) modernizing the existing oil-fired power plants for a higher flexibility in two shift and cycling duty operation have come to be requested.
