摘要：
It is shown theoretically and experimentally that at a fairly high rate of continuous rolling the amount of area reduction in the last stand of the rolling mill has no significant effect on the structure and properties of hot-rolled strips. A graph is plotted which makes it possible to evaluate quantitatively the relation between the temperature-rate and strain regimes and to predict the regimes at which area reduction in the last stand will have no effect on the structure and properties of the strips.
