摘要
Engineering steel 40Cr was used to understand effect of laser treatment and subsequent wear under conditions of unlubricated sliding on changes in micromechanical characteristics of rubbed surfaces. From variations in microhardness, from work of plastic deformation and relaxation it was established that a special structurestressed condition can be created in surface having a constant level of strength, plastic and elastic properties within the region of plastic flow of the material without depending on its previous conditions.
