WORLD-WIDE LAUNCH OF NEW BULK LIMESTONE ANALYZER.

Amdel Ltd has commenced commercial sales of their Bulk Limestone Analyzer. This unique instrument was recently developed for rapid analysis of bulk limestone samples and can also be applied to other bulk mineral samples. The measuring technique is described as 'prompt gamma-ray emission from thermal neutron capture'. The neutrons are very penetrating for the coarsely crushed samples of several kilograms mass which are placed in the sample measurement position. The Bulk Limestone Analyzers are being used for several applications. One unit is analyzing coarsely crushed limestone loaded onto a ship from the quarry. Another is analyzing blast-hole samples in the quarrry and also limestone samples loaded onto a train. The third unit is being used for the analysis of raw meal samples, and for calculating control parameters for the plant operators.
