摘要
In this work, we studied the effect of the thermal treatment of alpha -TiP on its catalytic properties in the dehydration of cyclohexanol. The results obtained were compared with the acid properties of the alpha -TiP samples. The adsorption and electron microscopy results indicate that alpha -TiP may be characterized as a coarsely porous adsorbent whose pores are formed by gaps between contacting crystalline particles. The thermal treatment of alpha -TiP in the range from 120 to 600 degree C does not have a significant effect on the nature of its pore space. The study results show that the catalytic activity of alpha -TiP in the dehydration of cyclohexanol depends on the temperature of the prior thermal treatment and passes through a maximum at 480 degree C. The catalytic activity of these samples is related to the amount of strong acid sites. The regeneration of POH groups is possible in the case of a high treatment temperature for alpha -TiP. This regeneration occurs during the catalytic reaction.
