Numerical solution of flow over a spillway using transformation of boundary fitted coordinate systems

摘要：
The flow over a spillway is solved by using transformation of boundary fitted coordinate systems. New iteration formulas for free surface and discharge have been established on the basis of the characteristics of boundary fitted coordinate grids. In this method, it is not necessary to determine the so-called critical point which has been usually adopted to divide the flow into subcritical flow and supercritical flow. The computed results agree well with experimental values.
