Present state-of-knowledge in theuse of high-strength steels in H//2S containing natural gas wells is described on the basis of API standards, suppliers specifications as well as of authors investigations and bibliographic references. As materials specially heat treated steels for pipes and joints had proven themselves under described operating conditions.
