A method for the synthesis of linear stationary systems based on the use of proportional elements in feedback and parallel paths is presented. This method makes it possible to alter the location of the zeros and poles of the open-loop system. Using it, one can design a closed-loop system with the location of the zeros and poles specified. An example is given which illustrates the application of the proposed method for the design of a closed-loop system with the specified location of zeros and poles.
