摘要
The power conversion system from the exhaust waste heat with the Rankine systems is regarded as one of the promising energy saving technologies. However, the heat exchangers for the recovery of the waste heat are usually too large. The size and the exergy recovering efficiency of the heat exchangers have been studied and compared with the exhaust gas economizers of practical use which are generally installed in the motor ships. It has been made clear that for the practical use, the exergy recovering efficiency per unit size of the heat exchanger is one of the important factors. To improve the heat exchanger efficiency from this aspect, a new system of exhaust gas economizer of heating under the constant specific volume is proposed and tested. Fairly favorable results have been obtained.
