摘要：
From the viewpoint of the development of the human memory, it is presented the most common understanding of the university aims which now extends from the group of scholars interested in promoting knowledge to the formation of professionals for arts, industry and commerce. It urges the need to prepare engineers of creative ideas and to redefine the university. It defends applied research in the university context and recommends a partnership between the university and the technological research and development institutions.
