The properties of the solution of the fundamental problem of interior ballistics, obtained by the Godunov method of a quasi-one-dimensional gas flow with a shock, are analyzed by numerical means. The processes accompanying the two-stage launching of a missile being complicated, a number of approximate computation methods have been devised, a simplified model being assumed for each particular stage of the system.
