A spectrometric module is described that is intended to operate with a charge-sensitive preamplifier in investigations of medium and high-energy charged particles for input charges to 10**5 impulses/sec. Utilization of a time-varying filter as shaper permitted an approximately 6 times diminution in the duration of the shaped pulse as compared with the pulse formed by a CR-RC filter under identical noise resolution. The signal at the module output is rectangular with a 100-nsec front and decay duration and a maximum 10-v amplitude.
