Solvability of a non-local hyperbolic model arising from a reliability system

摘要：
In this paper we study a non-local problem for first-order hyperbolic equations arising from a classical reliability system. We reduce the problem to a system of integral equations involving three undetermined functions. We observe that all performance measures of the reliability system depend on these three functions. We then establish existence and uniqueness results for the system of integral equations.
