摘要
Process of treating the slag taken from dump at 'Elektrostal'' Works has been considered. Volume of dump was 650,000 cubic meters. Separation of metallic components and oxides and removal of ground and production wastes have been discussed. Metallic components are scrap and metal concentrates. The metal concentrates have been investigated and their chemical compositions have been determined. Technology for processing the scrap and other components has been developed. Produced material has been utilized during smelting the corrosion-resistant steels in electric arc furnace. The all dump has been processed. Large site has become free. Slag has also been used for producing the slag concrete.
