摘要
The alloy investigated was an almost completely solid solution alloy containing a very small amount of second phase, i. e. , Al-5. 7Cu with a total impurity content of 0. 73%. The mechanical properties of the directionally solidified alloy are plotted, in some cases in comparison with SAP. The favorable effect of directional solidification was most pronounced in ductility values. This is explained in terms of the structures formed.
