X-ray structural studies have been performed on both Fe//1// plus //xNb//3// minus //xSe//1//0 and Fe//1// plus //xNb//3// minus //xSe//1//0// minus //yS//y single crystals. R factors converge to minimum values when x approximately equals 0. 25 and y approximately equals 1. 4 which confirms the non-stoichiometry previously mentioned. We also report magnetic and E. S. R. measurements together with a tentative explanation of those results.
