Nonlinear characteristics of CDA and DCDA in neodymium-laser second-harmonic generation

Authors have measured the temperature derivative of the synchronism direction &partθ/&partT and the angular width for the synchronism δθ for various crystal specimens for a YAG:Nd3+ laser between room tempeature and the 90° synchronism value. The results are given for CDA and DCDA crytals having L = 40 mm. The conclusions are that CDA and DCDA have large angular synchronism widths but require thermostatic control, whose accuracy is determined by the permissible reduction in the conversion efficiency.
