Analytical concepts for determination of stress and displacements are developed or reference literature is indicated. For the central-symmetric case a series of charts applying for frequently found rock characteristics are presented for reduction of calculation time. Calculation methods for the general cases are specified using the central-symmetric case method as part of the calculations. Formulation for the fracture mechanism of the folding is derived and that of the working face area is presented analytically. The basis of calculations presented is suitable for determining the various characteristic curves (convergency/lagging resistance) with differing time factors and for evaluation of the construction behavior influenced by rock data scattering.
