摘要
This report is an assessment of the state-of-the-art control system technology used in fossil-fired generating plant design and analysis. A review of the plant design process, with particular attention paid to current control system design practices, is included. These practices are examined in the light of dynamic operating conditions, such as occur in cycling, and are compared to the capabilities offered by modern multivariable systems design and analysis procedures.
