摘要：
A technology used in ICMP and SNMP protocol is discussed to implement initiative exploration and passivity inspect on topology discovery. The protocol theory of topology discovery dealt with this technology is analyzed. The function module definition, program implementation and data structure are given. The performance and efficiency of the algorithm are evaluated.
