摘要
Different strengths resulted from different kinds of synthetic resins and different catalysts added to the same resin. Strength varied with hygrometric conditions, blending additions and the setting process. The resin binders used are KJN-1 type synthetic resin containing low-furfuryl alcohol and high uyrea (furfuryl alcohol 49%, nitrogen 12%) and high furfuryl alcohol nitrogen-free synthetic resin with furfuril alcohol content of 87-90%. The setting processes used are SO//2 gassing and the no-bake process.
