摘要
The bore cooling concept for components of large diesel engines is outlined. This approach was developed for cooling of cylinder liners, pistons and cylinder cover plates. This article shows the capabilities of the principle and designs embodying it in the present range of Sulzer engines. For cylinder covers and pistons of four-stroke engines, possible future designs are presented for the first time.
