摘要
A study was made of effect of different forms of heat and chemicothermal treatment on the strength in bending and hydroabrasive wear resistance of tungsten carbide (VK15), chromium carbide (KKhN25) and titanium carbide with a steel binder KTZhKh-50 (50% TiC plus 50% steel Kh15). The wear resistance may be increased by strengthening the binder phase. Bulk alloying of the binder to a considerable amount is not applicable as a result of its embrittlement and a reduction in strength. Phosphatizing is recommended in order to improve the wear resistance of chromium carbide and titanium carbide powder hard alloys.
