摘要
Wear predominates at the present time among the various forms of operational damage to machine components (fatigue, wear, fractures, corrosion, aging through time and under the effect of the environment). However, development of methods for improvement of the wear resistance of components lags behind the requirements of machinebuilding, since many effective methods do not find wide use in industry, in view of their complexity and comparatively high cost. One of the most important problems is establishment of norms for wear resistance of components. Such norms would allow to formulate in each particular case the requirements which the designer and technologist are obliged to satisfy when creating a new machine or improving one produced in series. Guidelines for prediction of wear rates, operational damages and reliability are given, based on experimental results with agricultural tractors.
