摘要
In glass melting furnaces often AZS refractories based on alumina, zircon, silica are applied. Remarkable differences are given in the mineralogical composition and properties of the AZS materials based on the different manufacturing processes: ceramic-bonded and fused cast. A comparison of the properties of the different refractories with the demands given in the different parts of the furnaces can be a guideline to select the suitable refractory materials.
