Attempts were made to analyze the condensing heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop of refrigerant in a horizontal tube in a refrigerant cycle. The heat flux, refrigerant flow rate, and dryness fraction were varied, and three tubes with different diameters were used to clarify any diameter effect. An empirical equation is proposed for the heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop.
