摘要：
A guidance note to mine management on the purchase or replacement of self-contained self-rescuers (SCSR) was discussed. Evaluation of mines, infrastructures to support the development of SCSRs were also done. The interviews of potential M/Ss were also conducted by mine management to arrive at decisions which is based on sound information.
